This work is an allegory of the social condition of artists and the risk inherent in their profession. The work proposes a dialogue with the architecture of the Pasaje Fuencarral; its inspiration comes from the famous sequence of Harold Lloyd's silent film “Safety Last”, 1923 (“Fly man” in Spain). The protagonist symbolizes a heroic vision of the role of the artists, who bring their own well-being into play so as to defend their freedom of action at any cost.
