This project was initially meant to be located on the main façade of the town hall of Campos (Mallorca), located in the old defensive tower Torre de Can Cos. However, at the last minute, there was a forced change of location and the work was instead put up on the adjacent side of the Tower. Furthermore, the local city government, the promoter of the Festival Art Nit, required the withdrawal of the piece only hours after having been put up, for fear of unleashing a conflict with the German community that has colonized the Balearic Island.
The idea of the project was to associate the emblem of the imperial eagle, understood as a sign of victory and self-affirmation, with the symbol of the official currency of the Eurozone. Thus, in a visual manner, the work proposed a reflection on that leadership that the financial market exercises over any type of government today, beyond any ideological principles.
