“Muestra de Arte Injuve” was proposed by the artist as a fake exhibition of young art, with fictitious artists she invented herself. It was a way of recreating the “emerging” panorama of contemporary creation by presenting its common elements. However, Larrea’s intention was not to ridicule the clichés that supposedly invade young art in contemporary creation, but rather to construct a space for doubt, for real uncertainty where what’s real cannot be distinguished from what’s fake with certainty.
