The organizers of the alternative project “Casas y calles” invited some seventy artists to participate in its 2nd event, giving them complete freedom to produce different interventions in seven private homes in Madrid. In “Marko, Marta and Guille’s house” Diana Larrea recreated a filmic picture recognized by all: the desk of the writer-psychopath star of the horror film “The Shining”. As in the Spanish version of the film, typewritten on 500 sheets of paper there was the same single obsessive phrase: No por mucho madrugar amanece más temprano. (In the original version: “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy).
